BESPOKE CLOUD. OPEN FOUNDATIONS.

Your cloud.
Your rules.

Move beyond vendor lock-in. We design, migrate, and build private clouds on Apache CloudStack—shaped around your business, wherever it runs.

A BETTER WAY FORWARD

Outgrow the lock-in.
Keep what works.

Changing your infrastructure should move your business forward. We start with what you run today and build a practical path to what comes next.

01 / VIRTUALIZATION

A future beyond VMware.

Turn renewal pressure into an opportunity to rethink your platform. Move suitable workloads to CloudStack and KVM, with a plan for dependencies, compatibility, and cutover.

  • Workload and dependency assessment
  • Existing hardware and storage review
  • Pilot migrations and application validation

02 / CLOUD REPATRIATION

Make the cloud fit the workload.

Reconsider what belongs in AWS or GCP. Bring the right workloads into private infrastructure and retain public cloud services where they deliver real value.

  • Full cost and utilization review
  • Managed-service dependency mapping
  • A plan for data movement and connectivity

THE PRIVATE CLOUD, COMPLETE

All your workloads.
One considered architecture.

Apache CloudStack provides the IaaS foundation. We bring the surrounding compute, storage, networking, and recovery services together around your requirements.

01

Virtual machines

A home for your existing applications. CloudStack orchestration and KVM virtualization, sized for the capacity and performance you need.

COMPUTE THAT YOU CONTROL
02

Containers & Kubernetes

Give modern applications their own foundation. Container and Kubernetes environments integrated with private networking and persistent storage.

ROOM TO BUILD WHAT’S NEXT
03

Ceph storage

Block storage for VMs, shared file storage, and S3-compatible object storage. A storage architecture designed for your capacity, access, and resilience needs.

BLOCK / FILE / OBJECT
04

AI & GPU hosting

Infrastructure for inference, training, and accelerated workloads. Match GPU resources, data placement, and storage throughput to the work at hand.

ACCELERATION WITH INTENTION
05

Backup & recovery

Recovery is part of the design. Define retention, independent backup copies, restore testing, and recovery objectives before you need them.

BUILT TO GET YOU BACK
06

Networking & multiple sites

Connect your infrastructure across locations. Plan segmentation, routing, inter-site connectivity, and failure boundaries alongside the applications.

CONNECTED. DELIBERATELY.

LOCATION IS A DESIGN CHOICE

Your infrastructure.
Where it belongs.

A private cloud can be part of a bigger picture. We design around your sites, your data, and the public cloud services that still make sense.

01

On your premises

Bring the cloud operating model to your own facilities. Keep local workloads close to the people, systems, and data that depend on them.

02

In colocation

Build dedicated infrastructure in the data centers that suit your connectivity, capacity, and geographic requirements.

03

Connected to AWS & GCP

Keep selected services in a hyperscaler and connect them to your private cloud. Design placement, identity, networking, and data movement as one plan.

FROM FIRST CONVERSATION TO CUTOVER

A clear path.
From discovery to delivery.

Every environment is different. Our approach makes the dependencies, decisions, and acceptance criteria visible before production moves.

WHY FORGEWERX

Bespoke by nature.
Open by choice.

We’re a technology solutions company. That means starting with your business—not a predetermined bundle of servers and licenses.

Architecture before products. The workload sets the requirements.
Open foundations, practical choices.Reduce proprietary dependencies over time.
A plan for the whole environment.Compute, storage, recovery, and operations belong together.

BEFORE YOU MOVE

Good questions.
Clear starting points.

Is Apache CloudStack a replacement hypervisor?

CloudStack is a cloud orchestration platform. It manages infrastructure such as compute, networking, and storage. KVM supplies the underlying virtualization in the migration architecture we focus on; Kubernetes, Ceph, and backup services are integrated according to the design.

Can we keep our existing hardware?

Often, suitable infrastructure can be reused. We assess processor compatibility, memory, networking, storage, support lifecycle, and capacity before recommending what stays and what changes.

Does everything have to leave AWS or GCP?

No. Some applications and managed services may be best kept where they are. We assess the dependencies and complete operating costs, then plan which workloads move and how the environments connect.

What about downtime and recovery?

Migration windows depend on the application, data volume, and available tools. The plan should specify cutover windows, rollback criteria, backup copies, restore tests, and application acceptance. Multi-site infrastructure and storage replication do not replace backups.

Who operates the cloud after migration?

We define that with you during design. Responsibilities for monitoring, patching, backup, upgrades, incident response, and escalation need explicit owners, whether your team, ForgeWerx, or a combination.
